DANCE
Emmanuel Catholic College’s Extra Curricular dance provides our students with a wealth of opportunities beyond the classroom. Our students enjoy the tutelage of dedicated and talented teachers as well as guest industry professionals. Rehearsals take place on every Tuesday morning from 7.30am.

Tryouts for the extracurricular Dance program take place in Term 1 Week 2, on the Tuesday at 7:30am. Students are not required to contact the school prior to this they will register on the day. In this tryout dancers are given opportunity to see what is involved in this extracurricular program for the year and are selected for specific dance groups and items which allow the Dance Coordinator to produce works for the year of events.

MUSIC
Students can participate in a variety of ensembles which can change from year to year. We currently offer, a Liturgical Ensemble, String and Woodwind Ensembles, several Rock Bands and the College Choir.
Auditions for Rock Bands are held after the Catholic Performing Arts Festival (mid-year) and are generally kept together for 12 months.
The College Choir is open to all students and there are no auditions. Rehearsals take place from 3.15pm until 4.15pm on Mondays in the Music Room. Students just need to turn up to rehearsals and commit to regular attendance.
